NaCoSA was founded with a clear purpose: to make quality coffee planting material accessible, affordable, and disease-free. What began as a small nursery bed focused on seed selection quickly gained trust among forward-thinking farmers.

We established our first certified nursery beds, combining traditional propagation know-how with rigorous screening for Coffee Wilt Disease. These early trials proved that healthy, disease-free seedlings could reach farmers at scale — and marked our first step toward becoming Uganda's trusted seedling supplier.

With growing demand at home, we expanded our nursery capacity, reaching farmers in five new districts including Mt. Elgon/Bugisu, the Rwenzori region, West Nile, and the Central region. This milestone opened doors for collaboration with farmer cooperatives, adapting our varieties to each district's soil and climate.

Our commitment to farmer success took center stage. We launched free agronomy support — planting guides, spacing recommendations, and fertilization schedules — and scaled our certified seedling program so more smallholders could plant with confidence, one district at a time.
