Job description
We're looking for a Digital Nursery & Traceability Consultant to help bridge the gap between digital record-keeping and real-world nursery operations. In this role, you'll work with nursery staff, field agronomists, and farmers to implement digital tools that track seedling batches and simplify farmer ordering.You'll guide users through digital transformation journeys — from onboarding to optimization — and ensure that technology becomes a valuable, easy-to-use part of everyday nursery work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement digital record-keeping systems, seedling batch-tracking tools, and farmer ordering applications
- Conduct onboarding, training, and ongoing support for nursery staff and farmers using digital ordering and tracking tools
- Analyze nursery batch and order data to generate actionable insights
- Customize digital solutions based on regional demand, seedling variety, and planting-season timing
- Work with internal product and tech teams to improve platform usability and localization
- Translate complex batch and order data into farmer-friendly reports and recommendations
- Monitor adoption rates and identify barriers to digital ordering among farmers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agritech, Data Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in digital agriculture, nursery record-keeping systems, or agri-data management
- Strong understanding of coffee seedling nursery operations and how they intersect with technology
- Experience with mobile ordering platforms, barcode/QR batch tracking, or farm record-keeping systems
- Excellent communication and training skills for diverse, non-technical audiences
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and explain nursery and order data clearly
- Ability to work across teams and travel for on-site client engagement when needed
